Portuguese Whisky made in the Centre of Porto

Welcome to Little Faca, an innovative and unlikely micro-distillery in the heart of Porto. Our doors opened with a vision to experiment in the creation of whisky, gin and liqueurs using local ingredients.

We opened our doors in 2023, and started production of our first Whisky in March of the same year - a 100% heirloom red corn (milho rei) release.

This product will be released at the end of 2026 - after just over 3 years maturation in oak casks, coopered just outside of Porto city.

We create in small batches, which gives us the freedom to experiment with unlikely flavours and products. Our approach centres around using locally sourced fruits and cereals.

In the meantime - our gins highlighting Portuguese citrus and olives, and fruit liquors and cereal aguardentes (unaged whisky) are available to buy at the distillery and through our online shop.
